Can you see me?
I'm standing on the precipice of nowhere,
Waiting for something
An experience as magnificent and true
As this aquamarine dream.
Will the azure sky embrace me?
For now it seems confused and tired,
But I need the touch of heaven,
And salvation rings a resounding melody,
All I need is look at the eyes of the sky.
The land stretches, and a gaping abyss separates souls
But as dark is warm and comforting, it is the infinite night
And it shall never cease its promise of belonging,
All that hinders is everything and nothing
For words collected like angel's whispers
are all that's needed to bridge the need for being,
like feathers waving in the wind, along with wishes for dreams.
Words touch the heart, words are intense,
Magical and omnipotent, words are felt
And life is but a dream for now, made by a pen,
Verses of dreams that I embrace
So precious that they are locked in every nook of the heart,
So imbedded that they can never be expunged,
So vividly painful, one can never let go of its touch.
How can one tire of words of life?
This feeling of flight will never die,
And long as you love with verses as sweet as your lips,
As warm as a sunset kiss, eyes of the sky,
There is no need to hide, no reason unclear,
Eyes of the sky as I gaze, everything is alright.
