Upon the sand in which hes buried
Will fall the burden I once carried.
Within my hearts stricken life
Will sit the pain, sorrow, and strife.
Within the depths of my withered soul
Will sit this man, now turned cold.
Within his shell, now turned hollow
Will sit the loneliness that will follow.
Upon the floor of his lonely shell
He will forever lie in this hell.
Within the walls he built high.
Will tears fall when he cries.
Within this cage he cant let go.
Will he hear his cries forever echo.
Within this hell, on beaten down land
He will watch the pouring of times sand.
Within his heart he will feel the pain
And see the appologies his pride restrained.
Within his soul, he will feel this sorrow
And know that it will be the same tomorrow.
And finally, within his life's long years
He will see how he'd caused all these tears.
Not just from him, but also from me
And then finally, he will truly see.
