Broken dreams lay upon the ground.
And promises fade away.
People who were never around.
And all the things they didnt say.
All the hugs and kisses.
That my heart never had.
No hits and all the misses.
That seem to make me sad.
The words they never spoke.
And the touch I couldnt feel.
The person I am is broke.
And it seems so unreal.
The stars in the night.
Seem to just disappear.
Nothing can make it right.
Not my reflection in the mirror.
When I look deep inside.
The only thing I see.
Are all the ones who lied.
And starved my soul of me.
I see myself slowly dying.
And my fire fading out.
These tears I am crying.
Are what its all about.
My tired and faded eyes.
And my bewildered cheeks.
And all the severed ties.
Im on one big losing streak.
Nothing now can be done.
For you've taken it all away
Its over, you've finally won.
