I am writing you know,

Because I lost you somehow.



I was so determined not to,

And I had no clue.



Had no clue that I could fall so much in love with you,

And now I don’t know what to do.



As you said you would still be my friend,

I felt my heart begin to bend.



And as you said that that would only be fair,

I felt my heart begin to tear.



And as I started to cry,

I told you a lie.



I denied my plight,

And I swore I was all right.



And as we went our separate ways,

My heart is still ablaze.



For you is whom it blazes for,

And who knows what the future has in store.



So with everything I do,

I wish the future has you.
