The veins of light spread over the night sky.
Cold water falling from the dark veil of heaven.
Trees exhale a cold breeze numbing the senses.
In a blink of an eye my body turns to ice.
But my heart, the only warmth i can feel
Still beats as though nothing transpired at all
And then there is nothing
No fear,No excitment,No sadness or anger
Just a body and soul that have forever grown cold
And a hopeful heart that thinks otherwise.
