The Path, It Brightens
Now I walk the path of sorrow
Never to live, I feel so hollow
Now I go to lay in bed
Down I fall and rest my head
My eyes close shut, the world, it fades
Shadows fall in restless shades
Guard now down, parametre breached
Upon the shore a boat is beached
River in sight, I see my fate
A light shines forth, its not too late
She has come, answered my prayers
Now I know that someone cares
Boat pushed back, it’s not my time
Smiles at me, I hear life’s chime
No longer alone, no not again
