i have one last beat

as my life goes away

the doctor looks at my children

and starts to say

hes probably in a better place

but i cant hear him

as I'm floating in space



the world gets fuzzy

and clouds start to grow

i take a look around

im in heaven, this i know



when your eyes start to close

your mind starts to see

the world is behind you

there is no where else you'd rather be



i see a blinding light

over the gate

but its not mine yet

he must first decide my fate



mine is a happy one

my body will sleep

what will yours be

when its your last beat?
