Irony
In the Old Testament book of Numbers---that is, the fourth of the five books of Moses---we read of Balaam, a fairly messed up individual who receives good advice from a jackass.
And here, recently on this site, a fairly messed up jackass (myself) received good advice from an upright and courteous gentleman---a friend who has been a far better friend to me than I ever have been to him.
