On the Internet, so-called lovers of beauty have put
countless pictures that are, candidly, mere slag or slop.
But utterly beautiful are the young men of K-Pop:
clad casually or formally, and comfortably barefoot.

Author's Notes/Comments:
In Autumn of 1971, my best friend (since kindergarten, eight years before) and I often purchased issues of certain magazines that were marketed mostly toward adolescent girls, whenever those issues featured photographs of David Cassidy, barefoot. This could be expensive, so we learned to save---even hoard---our meager allowances. We also had to learn not to submit (even if momentarily) to shaming by the judgmental and prejudiced (homophobic) scowls of convenience store cashiers. Now, decades later, the internet provides (free of charge) similar depictions of barefoot, K-Pop beauties. (BTW, although my David, Barefoot collection vanished---probably due to my homophobic parents' "clean-up" binges, the internet has also replaced them in downloadable form, so that the loss has been replaced.)
