Nicander delights to wear his new stockings
often (and always shoeless), especially
when we make love. Of late, he found a recent
poem about the stockings of Kaisarion---
Cleopatra's son.
Author's Notes/Comments:
Certain Poets (ancient and modern) have suggested that during his adolescence, Kaisarion (son of Cleopatra and Julius Caesar; and who reigned as Ptolemy XV Caesar) wore stockings (of the RHT style, perhaps) for his boyfriend, who was believed to be a commoner.
