Long-haired, clad only in stockings (and garter
belt), otherwise naked, he greets you at the
door. He is already engorged---aroused by
the prospect of the night's pleasures. Tonight, you
do not hesitate.

Author's Notes/Comments:
This poem is both realistic (an experience described to me by the young man to whom the poem is addressed) and ekphrastic. Prior to the event, the young man to whom the poem is addressed was troubled by his Homosexual nature, as I was at that age. But his boyfriend's beauty very rapidly "untroubled" him . . . for good.
The title is an imitation of some of Constantine Cavafy's titles, as translated by Keeley and Sherrard.
