Chanted incense and prayer fill the temples;

moonlight glistens on the sea's calm surface;

across high slopes, a cool breeze frolics.

In a high-rise apartment in Kyoto, two almost 

named boyfriends embrace---having put off

society's silly and intrusive inhibitions as

well as their clothes (except for their sheer socks)

enjoy a pleasure too long belated.  And the sky is a

cloudless canopy of unimpeded starlight, a

brocade of the grandeur of the stars, arrayed to

celebrate the initiation of the boyfriends' commencing

                                                                       love.
