Can you look at me now?

With my sleep-driven eyes

And say that you care

That what you said, weren’t lies?



It would be easy now

When my mind is half asleep

For you to look at my past

To take one, small peek



As you try to see the things

The things, I need to hide

I show you something different

That makes your eyes go wide



Your mouth begins to tremble

Your thoughts stay apart

My lips begin to smile

As I see your eyes dart



The reaction is always normal

Whenever they come to see

Something they’re not prepared for

The other side of me



But no matter whom they are

Nothing else can change

You can’t avoid fate

The dates you, yourself arrange



They all meat the same fate

They never live to understand

That everyone is different

Sometime inhuman
