Once upon a time,
in a land far away,
lived a dapper little prince
who loved to play all day.
He played with bows and arrows
and rode his little steed.
He drove the servants crazy
but, them, he gave no heed.
One day while he was playing,
a wicked witch walked by.
She saw the selfish prince
and said, "oh dear, oh my!"
This prince she'd teach a lesson.
So off she went to think
how would she bring this boy
to the very brink.
So out she got her kettle
and her spell began to brew.
Lizard tails and dragon tongues
into the pot she threw.
And when the spell was finished,
she rode off to the court
where she found the little prince
just outside the fort.
The drink he took with ease
for she dared him he would balk
and little boys, as you know,
will prove they're not all talk.
So when the spell was worked,
the prince stood up and sighed,
"what a tasty little drink."
Then brushed the witch aside.
Little did he know
that as he walked away,
he turned into a hippo
which still he is today.
So what lesson does this teach?
Well, this is my reply;
a wicked witch is wicked
which simply is no lie.
