oh desperate rain keep falling

keep my hopes so high

keep soaking my world

with an enchanting faith

and keep romance from turning dry

kiss me in the evening

through the window-sill of my mind

and on my face it's falling

so, to these tears, they're blind

oh desperate rain help me

to remove these burdens in my mind

and when your beautiful clouds have opened

I'll pray they're washed for good this time

how you cleanse my soul

in ways so unimaginable

ways to make me forget

which way is best

to express the beauty that you wash over me

how you coat my world so romantically

stay ever so divine

and create me a waterfall of worlds

that i could finally call mine

sunshine is so typical
