love isn't easy

love isn't always kind

some love lasts forever

and some love changes its mind

love can be quite painful

some also be fake

sometimes it'll give

less than ever take

despite the complexity

something always moves me

the hidden, simple

and always pure beauty

love doesn't have to be complex

and complicated

and shouldn't be

exaggerated

love can't be held down

but should be let free

love might not be appeciated

but always is by me

love.

make it known

once it's shown

forget the past

make it last

always remember

love, itself, can do no wrong

so open your eyes

and forget the lies

and hold it 'til it's gone
