Black and Gray
would I rather be colorblind
would it show me pain
colors, I wonder what they mean to me
colors.. colors never change
so if gone
what kind of difference could be made
what are my chances of not knowing of
colors that have always stayed the same
I look at the world
I look at you, mostly
all your colors have faded
is it because colors do change
or is it just because you're jaded
color me this, color me that
I could survive on gray and black
'tis all of what I'm starting to see
what I'm starting to feel
because colors.. colors just don't seem real
they're too exciting, too exaggerated
and if they were obliterate
I still don't sense much fear
'cause I'd still be
the same old morbid me
as I was when they were still here
