I hear a voice from down the hall
A moaning, a pleading, her one last call
A ripple of thunder, a drop of rain
A storm rolls in as she cries in pain
Then a monstrous beast came spinning in
And that's when the real hurt would begin
Shapeless tears fall in my mind
Sham and fear doesn't come out in my kind
The young madin struggled and fought
But every time her throat was caught
Choking and sputtering, she never gave up
I listened and waited as the bad man fucked
I'd quiet in the pause of death to be
Thinking how at that moment i could flee
But i didn't, death far more appealing
I just sat with death's awkward feeling
Life held me down for its end was near
And i waited so willingly not in fear
Finally the silence grew on so long
That i had to think that my friend was gone
Still... I waited as life passed on by
But i still stood for one final cry
To my surprise and there it left
The beauty of the final breath
