A Later Day

It's an enigma, this death-in-life

It's so confusing, my pain and strife

I can't stand it, these feelings inside

All I want to do, is run and hide

So bring me down from a heaven, unknown

Wring me clear of this sickening tone

Turn around what do you find?

A person no more clear and kind

Cease this day, so bitter, bright

Let the dark drain through, let it strain the light

And how do we feel, glowing, gold

How do we seek from the binds of a love fold

One no more said of a shady day

The sun run to, but a jaded clay

Crumbling to earth, fire balls of death

Our brains mulching, on crystal meth.

Listen to the booms, bombs of pain

Let them come down, let them rain

Forgive the time, let it pass

Forgive the time, it won’t last

Dream a beautiful dream, curl into a ball

Hold on to me tight, please don’t let me fall

Pull me up from hell’s crusade

I just wish this day to fade

Burn a few trees, start a fire

Sing along with this gasoline coir

Ring a bell, the end is near

Release the world of this so called fear

This day is over, just wait for tomorrow

Suddenly it won’t seem important, your pain and sorrow

Wait to see the ugly, disaster’s play

Just wait and see the later day
