Promises made through regret
Because this kiss we know
Is a despicable kind
And many to say it's understandable
So we agree to undermine

This current infatuation
Foretelling something impossible
We still succeed I'm sure
After learning to be responsible

But who's to say they understand
If she's left it been unknown
We'll assure our further time together
If the subject's left alone

So we reconsider an understanding
And forget that it's impossible
Because I know this kiss we crave
Is the burden of something unstoppable
