here I sit,
cross legged on green grass
smelling mountain air
and mint leaves
a gnat buzzing in my ear
others darting around
natures silence filled
with nature's sounds
a bird chirping, a deer
rustling - uncertian
crickets jumping
the sky is clear the air is thick
the surrounding serene
even my chaotic mind quietens
as my pulse slows
and my shoulders relax
my bosy absorbing the peace
simplicily
and calm of the warm fall air so sofly caressing
blade of grass simple and complex detailed and simple
green and brown strong and wilted , it thrives in the sandy earth, taking what it needs without thought.
still yourself and be open to the world as it is in this moment.
