"I don't care if I'm sad,

or if he steps all over me

I don't care if he's bad

or if he doesn't even like me



I don't care if he's stupid

or if he shows no repect

I don't care if he's not worth it

or if in a crime, he's the suspect



I don't care if he drinks

or smokes or gets high

I don't care if he stinks

or steals or tends to lie



I don't care if he's a moron

or the biggest jerk I've ever met

I don't care if he likes to snore on

or if he's the biggest loser on planet earth



I don't care about the fact that

he takes me as a joke

I'm just happy with the thought that

it's me he likes to poke



I don't care if I am an idiot

or i'm acting without a cause

cause I'm so much in love that

all these things matter not"



So she said to me that summer day

that he's the one for her

I looked at her and laughed out,

said, "you must be lost in a blur,



cause look around you hon,

and realize you're better than this

don't convince yourself you love him

cause all i will say is oh please.



don't sell yourself short like that

there's more to life than love

In 10 years, he'll matter not
