These chains

Motivated to make a means from nothing,

Yet desperate to make this life mean something,

Driven to succeed through insecurity,

And those who don't lack maturity.

Concerned of what we make and sell,

Without a thought of what we make of our selves.

Looking down upon an addict on the street,

Addicts ourselves, can't see past our own feet.

Reuniting to boast of our success,

Real emotion neglected, we dress to impress.

False beliefs of our chosen actions,

Each action, nothing more than a chain reaction.

The illusion that there's such a thing called trust,

We lie to ourselves just to settle the dust.

Live blindly imprisoned; or open your eyes to see

To see how tight your chains are, to see you have

no key.
