I can’t believe you replaced me,
I forgot nothing gold can stay
It’s hard to get it through my head,
I can’t believe you went away

There’s someone new to make you smile,
And be there for when you cry
Someone who came so quickly,
Even before we said goodbye

Someone else to hold your hand,
And to softly kiss your lips
Someone to say I love you too,
And kiss your fingertips

Someone new to laugh with,
And hold so close and tight,
And to be with everyday,
While I’m alone at night

It’s not me that completes you,
I cannot make your dreams come true,
And it’s so hard to believe
That I’m not the one for you
