We knew that this was coming,
We saw it in each other’s eyes,
And understood it wasn’t right,
After so many different tries
It was over when it ended,
It was great when it was good
But nothing last forever,
And we both had understood
It was incredible when it started,
But we were blinded by our hearts,
Because we both forgot,
Everything’s perfect when it starts
We were fooled by our emotions,
Took over by what we weren’t ready for
And even though it hurts,
My hearts not broken – but its sore
I can carry on,
Because small wounds will always heal,
And one day I may find out,
What its like to love for real
