I'm nothing to hold onto,
I'm not even there,
Our love is forever,
But it's not fair,
Forever is a long time to be waiting,
Just to be mine,
So I'm letting you go now,
I'm not holding you back any longer,
One day you'll thank me,
When you meet someone great,
Maybe even perfect,
Because life isn't fair,
Because I wasn't there.
