This time...the writing's on the bathroom wall,

This time...what goes didn't come around.

This time...all could go on roller coasters, no matter how tall

This time...all happy clowns made frowns.

This time...teachers took down the notes,

This time...priniples did the test.

This time...little babies started to count the votes,

This time..."go east, young man, go east" not west.

This time...superman can't fly,

This time...summer flips over to school days.

This time...broken hearted boys cry,

This time...new generations follow the old ways.

This time...the apprentice knows all,

This time...the snow falls in the spring.

This time...someone will break your fall,

This time...the silent student will sing.

This is the last time...we'll remember our dreams,

This is the last time...we have to follow our hearts.

This is the last time...her eyes will sparkle and gleam,

This is the last time...we ride in the shopping cart.
