i don't understand why we are this way when the sun is out

i'm not calm

like water

when i'm around you

i'm nervous, expecting, wondering, hoping

i don't know anymore

did i ever know

or did i just fall into my same old habit

do you want to look inside my head

cause i'd spend the entire day sifting through yours

i want to know what you're scared of

want to know what you love

want to know if i'm in there somewhere
