And as I failed to tell you before
Life as I've known it
Wasn't that bad,
I guess,
And I think
It
Wasn't that good either

Ups and downs
Dear
Ups and downs

But kindly
Let no one knows
That
I ran away from those dirty
Battles
And searched for me
In the history,
In the geography,
In all the books
I stored
In my cupboards,
In my bedroom,
In my kitchen,
In my pockets,
And in my car!

I have been handed a weapon!
While in my head I carry an opinion
And in my hand I hold a pen!
======
I have chosen to write
Rather than to be written
======
I negotiated with Mother Nature
And she decided
To give me another chance
She put me over there,
In the beginning of the road
======
That was the point
From which
I ran back again
Trying
To come back to you
And to me.
