Darling Istanbul

Darling Istanbul

(The return of the lost spirit)

Here I seek back your lap, darling,

Looking keenly for me

motivated by mother nature

I return Istanbul

To rethink things over

I come back

With my pens, pencils, books

And my good intention

If you only let me tremble  in the winds of your winter

If you let me wash my brain in the showers of your rain

And  dream like a chilled in the breeze of your summer

I am knocking now at your shores

Why don't you say: enter

I have been to the glob's rim

Yet I failed to gain a shelter

Now if you say "yok"*

Where I am to go (I am the fugitive if you don't know)

Do you want me, darling, to hit the roads again?

[having navigated endlessly, I feel worn out . so here is my anchor " lütfen "**  lend me a port]
