The Chosen And The Gentile (1)
Inspired by the Gospels of Matthew 15:22-28 and Mark 7:25-30
Healing and teaching people of a specific brand,
The Miracle Man was roaming across the Stolen Land
To be stopped by a lady seeking help in a loud cry
,Just a crumb of the Lord's miraculous pie.
As a sign, he ceased to hear,
Meaning to tell her: don't get near,
Fearing to waste god's resources
on a woman with a gentile tag,
Yet she carried on supplicating.
Getting annoyed, he made a brag
classifying her, versus the chosens, as a dog
Being so human she taught him that
even dogs can sorely starve.
He got the reason, thus,
For once and only once,
to omit the racial difference
and donate an assistance
to a human beneath a gentile tag
hidden below a label of a dog.
Alleluia! Praise the Mighty Labels!
