Je n'a pas de valeur
It is evident this evening
that my concept has been conquered
that my ill has become issue
to those inquiring eyes
it is my itinerary
to display nothing but the known
Je n'a pas de valeur
It is an apparent afternoon
and I am alone
it is much like forever now
the sun is hot, the stars are gone
it is my only operation now
to listen for low tides
Je n'a pas de valeur
The derelict of day dawns
it's morning, now, again
and it's break
basking before me
in it I know
Je n'a pas de valeur
I know mainly of midnight
other times are often
yet it is then
that I call to the sky
black and adorn with stars
to speak of the moon
to spell out it's cause
for I know my own has past
and I worry not
of any but it's cause
the moon
for I know
the hand which welds the tides
long ago
put I, to rest
and I understand
much of many and morning
as well as afternoon and evening
it is mid the night
that my answer lurks
among stars I know
Je n'a pas de valeur
