When I'm sad and see you right here beside me
I can see that everyday is a new day
My past is unforgetably unchangable
But you make me want to live for tomorrow
I'll have a new chance, a clean slate
The possibility to make things alright
Tomorrow is a new day
All my probelms will seem to disappear
When I see that you're lying here next to me
Through thick and thin you're always there
Ready to save me from myself
Tomorrow is a new day
Why do I wonder how I got to be the lucky one?
For some reason
God decided to put sunshine into my life
Now I can live like nothing before
I'm free to fly, with no chains to hold me down
Tomorrow is a new day
Sunshine spills onto my bed
Reminding me it's a new day to live
Looking to my future and not in my past
You're there with me helping me along the way
Telling me that tomorrow is a new day
