The body of Christ is made up with many functions,
in the functions there were giving gifts to each of it's members.
As in a time when there was a class speaking in what was the greater gift.
I felt such a compelling in me to disagree, at the time the knowledge was
not there to back up the sense I knew was relevant at the time.
Although I am not a fighter in the body but one who stands on a firm
belief that God loves all of his children equally.
The sense of this has appointed that people may feel discouraged not
encouraged by this statement in which left my mind to believe that
this one gifts shows the evidence of the Baptism in the Spirit, or Spirit filled.
There is a need to seek all gifts, it is by the Spirit who accordingly the
gift that is right in that person for that function of the body.
As I was speaking to a friend who was sensing she had no gift, that her
gift seem so less, there that self worthless in the body.
Another friend who knows her gift but also seeks a higher gift,
In which is a good thing.
That leaves me to believe that some gifts are made to be better.
Now knowing in my gifts as I did for awhile and even at the time we sat there,
somehow the confidence nor the understanding was not there.
All who come to Christ and have a relationship with him and are already
given the Spirit to dwell within them.
Most people believe that baptism by the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues.
This is where I disagree with this.
If all were to speak in tongues then there would only be that one function
of the body working and the rest would be limp to the concept of the
indwelling of the Spirit.
John had spoken that not everyone is given this gift of speaking in tongues,
that not one is greater then the next, all to work in one Spirit in the flowing
of unity in the body.
It is love we should most seek and have, and by the love in our hearts all the
gifts become suitable in all functions in the body.
By this we can not recieve to have all gifts and each gift is by the purpose of
restoring the unity as a whole in the Body Of Christ.
