Sittin’ at the late night diner

Time to find some realease

It takes all the energy I have

To put my whirling mind at peace

Now sleepy minutes pass me by

Discovering where I belong



It feels like I’m chasin’ a fantasy

Lost in real life and real time

But once I push that dream aside

I can see what is truly mine
