I shouldn't have to pretend to be something I am not. 

I shouldn't have to do this or that just for you to like me. 

Whether it's a he or she. 

I shouldn't have to cuss, just to get respect.

I shouldn't have to cry every night over something you done. 

I shouldn't to worry over little things. 

I shouldn't have to yell, for you to know I'm not playing 

I shouldn't laugh at something that you think, I should think is funny. 

I shouldn't have to...

I shouldn't have to be something in your image. 

I shouldn't have to let you use. 

Even though you think I'm dumb enough not to know. 

I shouldn't have to hit you back, for you to stop messing with me. 

I shouldn't have to play games, even when I know I hate them. 

I shouldn't have to like you because someone said I should. 

I shouldn't have to live my life everyday like you want me to. 

I shouldn't have to...It shouldn't never happened...And it won't be again. 

Because now I'm living to be ME. 

And to live by the word of God and believe.
