My Heart (The Motel)

Folder:
hidden feelings

Inside my heart

you will see

People sleeping on the floor

Lying next to each other;

Holding hands

Yelling

And breaking

The windows.

The janitor;

His name is God;

Just fixed the leaky faucet.

People were complaining so much about it,

saying they were sick

Of seeing their faces wet

From my tears.

There is one guitar in the corner

It gets played once in a while,

the strings like

Getting touched.

If you look up

The ceiling is covered in spitballs,

paint chipping

and cutting into the light fixtures,

Which are nothing

but a few candles,

and maybe an oil lamp or two.

There is only one room

in this motel,

But it is so big

That everyone fits inside

pretty nicely.

I would just like to make this a note

To the new guest:

MAKE YOUR BED.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This was awesome!!! I loved it, it was so written with such creativity, and was very visual. My favorite lines were
The janitor;
His name is God;
Just fixed the leaky faucet.
People were complaining so much about it,
saying they were sick
Of seeing their faces wet
From my tears.
And
I would just like to make this a note
To the new guest:
MAKE YOUR BED.

That was classic!!! It just seems like your not afraid to open up your heart!
Keep writing!!!
