Yes I can explain,

Yes sir I understand,

This will be a pain.



You see, I was lost at sea,

When the Love Boat sank under me.

I drifted, I don’t know how many days,

When these Japanese fishermen

Picked me up along the way.



We were on the way to Hawaii,

So a passport we didn’t need,

The Japanese fishermen didn’t

Speak English

When I was picked up at sea.

So here I am and I want to go home.

I have been away from my babies

Way to long.



I don’t want to raise no fuss,

So can we keep this between just us.

It will be tough enough with the press and all,

And we will really need some time

If you can hold that call.



I don’t know where they are all at,

But I know they will be home when I get back.

So if you can put me on a plane

Then you can start looking,

Besides my loving family,

I can’t wait for some home cooking.
