Military/Patriotic Here lies a brave man,
Not unlike the others that here stand.
All possess that intangible thing
to give their all for freedom's ring.
Throughout our history, were many more.
We owe so much to those who have gone before.
They set the standard for which we strive,
For their country and freedom they gave their lives.
Those patriots set the height of the bar,
now it is for us to raise, but the question
is, how far?
At what cost must it rise,
for each move is measured in lives.
Like them, we will step up to the plate,
take our swings and accept our fate.
We will hold to our ideals and hold our heads high,
for life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness,
and mom's apple pie.
Yes, here lies a brave man.
An American, not afraid to take a stand.
To give his all as those before,
for our way of life and his corp.
