If I went back in time

And changed what I did and said,

Would it have ended the same way?

Or would I give up the single life for you?



If I went back in time

And gave up the single life for you,

Would I still be the old me?

Or would I change my entire image for you?



If I went back in time

And changed my entire image for you,

Would I be happy with what I did?

Or would I hate myself, being a hypocrite?



I don’t know the answers to any of these questions

I don’t think I ever will

But why bother with the past?

I have an entire life before me
