A Slow Change

You tell yourself not to breakdown
Cause breaking down means giving in to the pain
You think the mask shelters the rain
But I want you to show me where it hurts
So I can understand you
Let it pour out, don't be afraid
You're worrying me cause your starting to fade

Cause It's a slow change
But it's clear for all to see
That you've become your worst enemy
You hide, inside, these glass walls
Hoping they don't shatter and fall
But the cracks are showing
And your tears are flowing
Haven't you had enough
Haven't you had enough

You tell yourself not to fall down
Cause falling down means you've ran in vain
It's like your caught in the slow lane
But I won't leave you stranded in the dirt
I'll reach out my hand out
Show you a better route, a better way
Giving you comfort and shade

It's a slow change
But it is not forever
You can't turn back the page
But you can start a new chapter
You can exchange
Your past for a better future
Haven't you had enough?
