Here comes reality, crashing in!
How silly that hope, to get love from him.
A foolish thought, that I could be what he wants.
A dunce cap of reality, I should have to flaunt,
for ever entertaining, thoughts of such a thing,
and that in his eyes, I could be more than a fling!
How shallow I would have to be to believe,
that's he'd ever miss me, if I were to leave.
What a colorful story, that had to be,
when I fancied the thought, that he'd ever choose me.
A silk-woven web, made of my fantasy;
Even I have to laugh, at the joke that was me!
