MY LIFE STORY (11)

Folder:
MY LIFE STORY

Somehow it was not the same,
She took each day, as it came.
Trying to capture the long ago,
It had already began to snow.
The ice was too slippery on the
go.

Looking inward, I could clearly see,
What really had been happening to
me.
My poetry continued to flow,
I had been caught in the after-glow.

If we can master our inner strengths,
We will not be taken by subductions.
If we lose our inner strengths,
We willl be taken in by temptations.

Our inner strength is often challenged.

Different drummers, have looked my way,
I always smiled, and looked away,
I will not allow myself to get caught up
in the fray.

I have been taught since childhood,
we are only here for awhile,
We must live our lives above reproach,
So someday when we stand before the
gate keeper,

He will find us worthy, to enter there.
Eternity inside the gate, will be a
wonderful event.
