Could it be

fate.
Situations
aren't
pleasant
you see
Sometimes
pretending
is the
key.
We might
seem
happy today
doesn't mean
it's really
that way.
Some pretend
and then
turn around
do it
again.
Some act
sincere
silently
watch them
when no one
is near.
