by pretty ribbons
captivating the senses
As ribbons age
begin to unravel
threads of many colors
appear
red
blue
green
yellow
gold and silver
reveal themselves
understanding
patience
maturing
knowledge
at last realizing
colorful threads woven
together
creates the ribbons of life.
