I looked out my window

And saw a little girl

In a blue summer dress

Standing in the sun 

She started to spin with arms stretched out from one edge of the world to the other

Around and Around

Around and Around

Around and Around

And with this 

She washed away the sins of the world 

Smoothed every jagged edge

Stripped away old rust

Kissed the forehead of all that is good and evil

Smiled for us all

I have never seen anything as beautiful

As a little girl
