Small Stars are mine tonight
In my small world they fade tonight
Instead of leeking light, it's ink
Dripping, oozing out of puzz filled pocks
Into this small sleepy world tonight
there is no light to guide our way
As we journey over bumps and craters
Diesese corroded wall and dim-like faces
There's nothing to light the candle that burns
To its wick and silent and dark again
I whisper the words, send prayers to the night
Seek the look on some stern faces tonight
Watch as my stone hits the bottum
and my footsteps get lighter
Watch as they fade away and so do I
The qpaque circle of light is torn
Ripped and curdling black blood
Its puss fills rivers, the lakes, the seas
We all consume and as it descends
We start to fall
The ocean is silent, no longer wavering ashore
Its silence reminds me of the dead
It's depth imaginable, its small eyes erratic
I whisper the words that could set it all right
They are packed up tight this very night
Small stars are gone tonight
