Playing Your Game

Hold me at an arm length

and look me in the eye

Give some words to your soul

cause I just don't know what to believe in

And your playing your game as we

dance across the room

knowing your silence gives questions

you keep me at your side

but you spin me blind and I plunge

in and out of confusion

Both too scared to say anything

hoping this moment wont end

but still, I don't know what your thinking

our movements a mixture between darkness and light

Our eyes are fierce and strong in the passion of our song

There are no emotions, cold and bristled in the starlight

The sound of our two feet the only sound we meet

You fling me back, fling me forward into your strong arms that don't quite meet

I'm more in the darkness than in light

And here we are playing our game

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is more about a *feeling* than *someone*. Its more about not really knowing what the other is thinking
