PANDORA

Pandora lady of the night

telling stories of long ago

a life that you remember

but run from for years

over two thousand to be exact

skin that can never feel the warmth of the sun

you lived through every war

watching things develope

wanting so much more

never knowing just how

to manage all that you want

life dealt you a nasty hand

you thought is was forever

but not realizing just what that ment

Pandora share you secrets

so that we might all survive

you from noble lines

fell for the oldest trick in the book

a man with charms and handsome looks

you thought you were his only one

he slapped you many times

not in the physical sense

but a slap non the less

carrying your pain deep inside

trying to keep it hidden from you family and friends

Pandora now you can walk free of the hurt

walk with head held high

for you shared all the bad things

that cost you a restful slumber

may you close your eyes to the past

walking with eyes straight ahead

into a long and happy future
