With eyes closed
sense aware
feeling the warmth
from the sun on my face.
Hearing acute
off in the distance
I hear the rhythm walk
an elderly lady with grace.
Eyes still closed
sun's warmth surrounds me
music playing low
Supremes singing to my soul.
Little girls smile
makes my day
eyes so bright
she's on a roll.
With eyes closed
I can see life
from a much clearer
point of view.
